ABOUT THE CAMP
Get ready to groove, moov, and bust a move at Ottawa's only Hip Hop March Break Camp! This fun and energetic camp is designed for kids ages 7-12, whether they’re beginners or already have some experience on the dance floor. Over the course of five exciting days, campers will dive into the world of hip hop and street dance culture, learning the latest moves, experiencing how to DJ hands-on, creating their own graffiti art, making their own choreographies with other kids, and expressing themselves through dance.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

​​Daily Hip Hop Dance Classes: Kids will participate in two dance classes a day with a new dance style within Street Dance (Breaking "Breakdance", Hip Hop, Popping and more). Our Artistic Director BBoy Effect will guide campers through fun and age-appropriate routines, helping them build confidence and develop rhythm.

DJ LESSONS: Campers will get the chance to learn basic DJ skills from a local DJ. They will also get to play with the controllers and apply their dancing to the music.

GRAFFITi AND ART LESSONS: Campers will learn how to create basic Graffiti lettering and bring home their art work

LUNCH TIME: Please send your camper with 1 lunch, 1-2 pre-filled waterbottles and 2 snacks - ALL NUT FREE. A pizza lunch will be provided on the final day.

Games & Activities: We keep it fun and active with games, challenges, and team-building activities that help campers stay engaged and energized throughout the day.

Final Showcase: On the last day of camp, friends and family are invited to watch a final performance where campers will show off what they’ve learned during the week.

How does drop off and pick up work?
-
Drop off must be done between 845am-9am (12$ extra per day for early drop off at 8am)

Pick up must be done between 350-410pm (12$ extra per day for late pick up / latest 5pm)
*Please email us with this request and an invoice will be sent to you prior to the first day*
*Pick up at Room 221. For the safety of your children, they will not be released to anyone except the person(s) designated on the form. If this changes on any day, please inform Arnaldo ahead of time*
