Join us for “Battling 101”, our workshop designed for rookies and emerging street dancers ready to battle for the first time or to refine and redefine their approach to this space! Use this opportunity to prep you for our first battle coming up on February 21st, 2025!

EMERGING STREET DANCE ARTISTS @ 130PM - 3PM
▪️This workshop is designed for street dancers with 1-5 years of battle experience—those who started battling between the pandemic and now. If you’ve been figuring it out on your own and “just going for it” without guidance, this is your chance to understand battling a bit better. Effect will help you refine your approach, provide tangible tools to apply to your own dance, show up authentically, and truly understand the art and significance of battling. With these tools, you might just take home the dub next time 😉
 
What to bring?
-A pre-filled water bottle
-Indoor sneakers
-Clothing/outfits you plan to battle in (If you are unsure, wear loose comfortable clothing)
